I recently got to read parts of Austen’s book for a training I was a part of, and have also been able to see him present in person at different events. Austen is incredibly charismatic in his approach to a subject that many Christians have shied away from. In addition to his own story of being a transgendered Christian, he is able to lay a groundwork for issues that many people have not had exposure to. Through his writing you will have insight on how to relate to transgender people of faith, and how they fit in the future of a more inclusive Christianity.
